CONSULTANCY : Design Quality Indicators
DQI is an innovative tool to evaluate a building’s design quality by ensuring that views are heard from all stakeholders.

Chris Haddon has run 40 DQI workshops across Primary, Secondary (BSF), Special Schools, Academies and Community Services co-location schemes.

Chris is also Chair of the DQI Development Group - gathering feedback about the Design Quality Indicator tool in use and guiding its on-going development and application to new sectors.

“I tailor the DQI framework to suit the circumstances of each client and project so as to create a rewarding experience for all stakeholders.” The outcomes of the workshops aim to obtain measurable answers to the questions:
  • At Briefing: What do we want to achieve with this building?
  • In Mid Design: How well does the design meet the needs and aspirations we set out at briefing?
