Shopping Centre enhancement
As well as Retail Delivery, we provide architectural services to shopping centre landlords to enhance the value of their property and provide potential tenants with units to suit their needs. At Brent Cross, we have built a series of rooftop extensions behind the existing perimeter screen wall, which allow upper mall units to expand upwards to create two storey trading or storage space. At The Oracle in Reading, we worked with retail designers Checkland Kindleysides to extend an existing bridge into a rugby ball shaped café for Starbucks, as part of a Mall enlivenment programme. Our refurbishment of an old NCP car park has transformed the arrival point at The Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Chester. A common theme across these projects is the challenge of working in occupied premises with the minimum of disruption to trading and the public. Case studies
