A new NHS Community Diagnostic Centre at The Belfry, Redhill, will provide essential scans and tests in a convenient high street setting.

HFM Architects is working on a new NHS Community Diagnostic Centre at The Belfry Shopping Centre in Redhill, providing essential healthcare services in a familiar and easily accessible location. Part of the government’s expansion of NHS facilities, this new centre will allow patients to receive diagnostic tests closer to home, reducing travel times and easing pressure on hospital services.

The centre will offer a range of diagnostic services, including CT scans, X-rays, bone density scans, cardiac echo, ECGs, and other medical consultations. Appointments will be bookable via local GPs, making it convenient for patients to combine their healthcare visits with a trip to the shops in this popular retail destination.

Three existing shop units have been stripped out and amalgamated to create the new facility, with fit-out works to high-quality medical standards commencing later this month. The first patients are expected to attend in mid-summer 2025.

This project represents another step forward in improving community access to vital healthcare services in welcoming and well-connected environments. Stay tuned for updates as work progresses.
